It’s my favorite time of year – Autumn! That means apple picking, donuts and cider, hayrides, and the pumpkin patch.
Last weekend was our first visit to the pumpkin patch and my daughter had a blast. Seriously, she’s still talking about it.
The best part about going so early in the season is that the weather was perfect (65 F and sunny) and there were only about a dozen other people there.
The downside is that it wasn’t as big of a production. Later in the season there is hot cider and hayrides.
We got a couple decorative pumpkins to put on our front porch, but plan to go back for carving pumpkins in October.
The weather is supposed to be beautiful this weekend, so we’re checking the next item off our Autumn bucket list and we’re going apple picking with friends. Nothing beats a freshly picked Empire apple this time of year!
